Gabrielle Barnett, Assistant Director:  An honors graduate of the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, Miss Gabrielle holds a BFA in Jazz Dance Performance.  Her award-winning choreography has been performed at venues and industrials across the tri-state area. She has more than 10 years teaching at KBSD, as well as at area high schools and at the 2008 National High School Dance Festival. Miss Gabrielle is also the Founder and Artistic Director of the Say Dance Collective, which performed in Philadelphia as a part of Brian Mengini’s ‘Hope Dances’ Dance for Dreams Gala alongside dancers from the Trey McIntyre Project, the Boston Ballet, and the Pennsylvania Ballet and in New York City at Carnegie Hall in collaboration with the Pacific Opera.

Our instructors focus on each dancer’s learning needs while providing excellence
in dance training, as well as developing solid teamwork, self-esteem,

Cara France grew up in New Jersey, where she began dancing at a young age. As a competitive dancer, Cara honed a passion for dance, which continued throughout her studies at the Universit)y of the Arts, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. A modern performance major, Cara studied with Brian Sanders, Zane Booker, Kim Bears-Bailey and Curt Haworth, as well as performed both in and out of school. Following graduation, Cara danced for the Walt Disney World Company in Orlando, Florida, in multiple parades and shows throughout the Magic Kingdom. Additionally, she was a dancer for Hardrive Productions in an industrial for the Food Network, as well as a company member of the Yow Dance Company.
